1. Publishing of your story, once submitted to BAC, is entirely up to the editor. Your article must be finished when submitting.
2. All work submitted must be your original artwork. Please use common sense and provide proper documentation when you do cite sources. We love links, please use them!
3. Your article may be edited prior to posting
4. Incomplete submissions (e.g. those without author bios or photo) may not be published. It is a risk you should consider prior to submitting anything.

If your article or story is accepted for publishing:
5. You grant a license to the Bemis Art Community to be the exclusive publisher of the article online. You may republish online and link to the article– for example on your own site – however, the article in its entirety should not appear elsewhere. You may also republish the article offline in any way you wish, such as: sell it to a magazine, submit it to a book, etc.
6. You consent to the full article, excerpts, samples or examples from it appearing in other Bemis Art Community sites, products and services.
7. You agree to help us promote it by posting on your FaceBook, Twitter, blog, or any other means with an excerpt and/or link to your story on our site.

What’s your story?
Now with all that legal stuff out of the way, are you ready to submit? Go to the Submission Form.
** If you believe that your article cannot be submitted via a standard form – for example, you have 15 photos for a photos story – you are welcome to email it to Kadence ‘at’ bemisbuilding ‘dot’ com instead. “Contributor Submission: YOUR NAME HERE” should be the subject line. The e-mail should contain: your story or pitch, a short autobiography, a photo of yourself, URL for your website, and your cited sources (if applicable). Please read the information listed as the second option of the Submission Process for more precise guidelines regarding file names and sizes.
